How to make components rotary pump with SolidWorks.  The pump components :

1. Pump Body

2. Lobe/Rotary

3. Gear

4. Cover Lobe/Rotary

5. Cover Gear

6. Spindle

7. Spie

8. Pulley

9. Cover Spindle



  • Pump Body
Create a new Sketch



        • Run Solidworks
        • Select New Part













        • Select a Plane (example Right plane)
        • Then select Sketch and click














        • Click the Line icon and dragline
        • Next, click the Line and select Construction Geometry












      • Click the Smart dimension icon
      • Set the geometry line size 70 mm and other dimensions as in the picture

















      • Click the Cyrcle icon
      • Make a circle sketch as in the picture










      • Click the Smart dimension icon
      • Set the diameter of the two circles to 120 mm










      • Click the Trim Entities icon
      • Then cut the circle as in the picture










      • Click the Offset Entities icon
      • Then Offset the two circles with dimensions of 10 mm










      • Click the  Extruded Boss/Base
      • Then input dimensions 40 mm










- Create a new sketch

      • Select the Front Plane to start a new sketch











      • Click the Surface
      • Then click Convert Entities










      • Click the circle icon
      • Make a circle with a diameter of 18 mm like the picture










      • Click Extruded Boss/Base with a dimension of 5 mm











      • Click the Chamfer and input dimension 3 mm











- Create a new sketch

      • Click the surface
      • Select a new sketch










      • Make a Circle like a picture











      • Click the Smart dimension, and input the circle dimension to 38 mm










      • Then click the circle and click the Convert Entities icon











      • Click Extruded Boss/Base and set the dimension to 4 mm











      • Click the Fillet icon
      • Click the edge and dimension to 4 mm










-Create a new sketch
      • Click the Surface
      • Then select the new sketch










      • Click the Rectangle icon and make it like the picture











      • Click the Smart dimension icon
      • Input dimension 95 mm x 85 mm like the picture










      • Click all the rectangle line
      • Select Construction Geometry










          • Make a circle on the corners of the rectangle 











      • Click all circles and select Make equal











      • Click the Smart dimension icon and circle dimension to 13 mm










      • Select Extruded Boss/Base and set the dimension to 7 mm











      • Select the Reference geometry icon and select Plane from Right Plane  distance to 105 mm










-Create a new sketch
      • Click Plane 1 and select New Sketch
      • Make a circle with a dimension of 40 mm and other dimensions according to the drawing









      • Extruded Boss/Base according to Direction 1 like the picture










      • Click Surface and select New Sketch











      • Make a circle with a diameter of 60 mm and 52 mm
      • A circle with a diameter of 52 mm makes Construction Geometry









      • Create a circle with a center point on the geometry line and a diameter of 5 mm like the picture










      • Click the Circular Pattern icon
      • Click the circle to be a pattern
      • Drag the center point to the desired point









      • Input value pattern 6 











      • Extruded Boss/Base with a dimension of 5 mm like the picture










      • Click the Mirror icon
      • Mirror face/plane select Right Plane, and select Bodies to Mirror select extruded boss/base like the picture









      • Click the Direct Editing icon and select Combine
      • Select Add at operation type, then click Bodies to combine









      • Create a sketch at the right plane
      • Create a circle with a diameter of 30 mm
      • Extruded Cut with direction Through All-Both









      • Click surface
      • Select a new sketch










      • Create a circle with a diameter of 36 mm
      • Extruded Cut at 3 mm










      • Click the Mirror icon
      • According to the picture










- Create a Hole Wizard 1
      • Click surface
      • Select a new sketch










      • Click the Point icon
      • Create a sketch like a picture










      • Click the Hole Wizard  icon, according to the hole type like the picture










- Create a Hole Wizard 2
      • Click surface
      • Select a new sketch










      • Click the Offset icon with a parameter of 5 mm
      • Then the offset result used as construction geometry










      • Click the Point icon according to the picture











      • Click the Hole Wizard icon and according to the picture
